Break Your Own Geodes - Set of 12 - STEM Toy and Classroom Learning

Let each student in your classroom be an archeologist with this fun science activity. Place a geode in a bag or sock and hit it firmly with a hammer to break open (not included). Geodes may contain colored rock or sparkling crystals! What treasure will you find? Adult supervision required. Geode size and contents may vary. Please note that because these are natural rocks, results will vary and they may not all contain crystals.

• Geodes are round stones, usually hollow filled with crystals or layers of agate. Your "Break at Home" geode should have either quartz or calcite crystals inside.
• To crack your geode, first place it inside an old sock. Lay sock on concrete floor or sidewalk, and tap geode with hammer.
• 1 dozen package.
